Self Healing and Reflection

I like to touch on this often because with everything going on today, I feel we don’t do enough self healing and reflection. It’s not only designed for a specific group of people but we can all benefit from it. Make sure we are doing good mentally and physically. When was the last time you actually sat down, relaxed and made sure that you felt good about where you are in life? Last time you checked to make sure you weren’t stressed with what’s going on around you? This should be a regular thing, just checking up on you as a person. Stop, sit down and take a break. Are you good? How are you feeling?

Honestly, when is the last time you checked on yourself to make sure you are doing good? I do this regularly because you shouldn’t hold anything in. If you need to vent to someone, vent to yourself, make sure you have some sort of outlet to release how you feel? How do you actually feel about this particular situation? Express yourself and let it out. Holding things in, can be very toxic to you and your health. Self care is the most important thing in this world and you are the most important person in this world. Make sure you are good before anything. You are valued and appreciated but make time for yourself to heal. Escape from the world momentarily and place yourself in something that gives you joy. If it does not give you joy and help you heal, it isn’t for you. 

Reflect on the past YOU and move forward with the future YOU. You have to strive to be better than your past and make sure you’re taking care of yourself. With all the negativity and hate in this world, take a step back and check on you.
