6 Things You Should Work On In 2014

–>  Another year has gone by, another day to be thankful for. As you review your 2013, have you accomplished the goals you set for yourself earlier in the year? Did you start and then just said fuck it? Well, it’s never to late to evaluate your life and make new goals. Stop saying “new year, new me” you’re still the same person just with new goals. Here is the list of things that I think everyone should work on for the year 2014.

Stop Being Bitter
Just because things don’t go your way and they are going well for someone else, don’t be bitter. I’ve noticed that when someone is happy, people seem to question their happiness. I’ve caught myself doing it and I am just like, “I shouldn’t feel this way.” Don’t be that bitter friend or let things make you bitter. Just accept life and know that things will happen in time.
Put Your Pride To The Side
Pride can destroy a lot of things in your life. It can destroy friendships and relationships. Be the bigger person and put your pride to the side. Being stubborn never gets you anywhere. Take the time to just suck it up and take the first step, if you have to. Sometimes the first step is the best step.
Move Forward
Continue to move forward no matter what is trying to hold you back. We seem to fall when something brings us down or when people say we can’t do something. As long as you think positive, you can move forward and become great. Just because you fall once doesn’t mean you can’t get up and do bigger things.
Take A Risk
People are always afraid to take a risk but it’s apart of life. The most unexpected things come to those who take a risk. Even if it turns out bad, at least you gained experience from it. It might be a waste of time but at least you won’t look back and say, “oh I should have tried that . . .” You never want to have that thought in the back of your mind.
Reconnect or Just Let Go
We always say we want to reconnect with people but when the time comes we are always busy. Sometimes we just forget. There should be a time limit on when you can reconnect with people. If you have to remind yourself a million times that you need to reconnect with people, just let it go. If you really wanted to do it, you would have done it already. No excuses.
Just Be Happy and Love Yourself
Just enjoy life, be happy and love yourself. Sometimes we forget to just be happy and love ourselves. If you aren’t happy, then what’s the point of living? If you can’t love yourself and love all your flaws, how can you love? Love you for you and just be great. Be the best version of you possible. Love the person you are becoming and just be happy.
